 So, what else has been happening?

• I had a haircut this week!  It was the first one since about January (other than cutting my own fringe), and is now quite short and ‘bob’- like.  It has gone quite curly too and Paul keeps ruffling it up and laughing.  Cheek.
• I have planted up my Japanese onion sets and a row of ‘sacrifice’ carrots as companions – to confuse the onion-fly apparently, 
• And have garlic and broad-beans waiting to go in too…
• After I have cleared the remaining tomatoes and cucumbers and courgette plant.
• I will also plant some more Winter Lettuce, Purslane (don’t know what that’s like but worth a go), and various other winter ‘greens’.
• The peppers in greenhouse No.2 are doing very well, but they are all still green.  I am hoping that this spell of warmer weather will encourage them to turn orange at least.
• I have also sown seeds (in GH no.1) for:

• Sweet-peas
• Delphiniums
• Hollyhocks
• Calendula
• ‘White flowers’ (we don’t know what they’re called – but the seeds are from a friend of Mums’ garden)

I have another load of seeds to sow – I’m attempting to dry out some agapanthus seeds too from my pwn plant (donated by a friend), and I might have a go at specifically taking some geranium cuttings.  I have had a few successful attempts previously but that was because random stalks fell off and I just dipped them in rooting-powder, stuck them in soil and - as usual - hoped for the best!
