So, watch this space. Again!  As it is, I’ve enjoyed being able to do some basic clerical type work whilst sitting outside.  It has been such beautiful weather and even digital filing of policies can be tolerated when the birds are tweeting, twitching and fluttering around, the church bells are ringing and there is the distant shrieks from children running around and playing. 

So, naturally, I have been boring my family and friends to tears with daily updates and photos of my garden!  They’re fortunate really – insofar as I force Paul to ‘tour the estate’ at least once a day and he indulges my apparent need to wax lyrical about the emergence of a new leaf or petal or bud or off-shoot!

So – that’s about as exciting as it gets – as we celebrated our sixteenth wedding anniversary earlier in the month (3rd June). And we were able to go out for a meal!  Woo-hoo!! Luckily Winchcombe boasts a variety of ‘eateries’ and it is very civilised to be able to walk – because then both of us can enjoy a decent bottle of vino!  We went to a restaurant called Wesley House – which is also a 15th century Merchant’s House. It was so nice to be cooked for!!

I love this photo - it makes me giggle every time I see it.  I suppose that is one good thing about lockdown and restrictions - some of the clever (and not so clever) pictures, videos and songs doing the rounds.  There are some very creative people out there... whereas I have enough trouble trying to keep on top of what "platform" I'm working on - One Drive, Google Drive - or which email Inbox to use - I have four Clerk addresses via Outlook, two other work addresses via Google and another random one linked to Dropbox.  There's also the various 'editorial management' on Face Book, individual websites, Instagram and emails linked to my Winchcombe volunteer activities.  Perhaps this is why I don't have the energy to address my personal correspondence lately?  Sorry about that!
